So we are getting married in the year of the Dragon!! We started off the year with a bang at a Mansion New Years Eve Party!!!
Then, the wedding planning began. Wedding planning is such a grind!! I didn't realize there was so much to planning a wedding! I've always said in the past that if I ever got married I would hire a planner, but since my venue is offering a "wedding coordinator" it seemed like a waste of money at the time. However, now I'm starting to think I should have hired one haha. We have been doing just small amounts at a time, trying not to get overwhelmed.. but it just seems never-ending! I figured first and foremost, I should pick my colors.
We're getting married in a quaint, beautiful little chapel with a
lot of
natural lighting. It was the first and only venue we ever visited. The
minute we stepped in the chapel, we both just drew in a breath and got really quiet. It was breathtaking and we both knew in that
moment that we'd found the place we were going to get married in. I've
always liked real scenic things and natural colors so I decided to go
with a nude/ pink/ ivory/ light peach-type color pallet. Since my mom is
the florist for my wedding, I
made some flowers with my potential colors for her birthday. ;)
"Love is like a beautiful flower which I may not touch, but whose fragrance makes the garden a place of delight just the same."
These are a couple of pictures I took with Tiger one night when we were
playing around on our ipad. There are so many cool apps out nowadays and
we have recently gotten addicted to this new game called, "Draw
Something". It's basically like pictionary but you get to play with your friends through your phone or online. It's super addicting and fun to play! I have another photo fixer app on my phone too that lets you edit your mobile or ipad pictures. I love it because it reminds me of the sticker pictures I used to take with my friends when I was growing up. It's hard to believe that now we don't even need machines to create cute pictures like this!! :) I love taking pictures (as you might have noticed hehe) because I feel that photos will be the only memories you have left in life. They tell a story.. your story.. so you should try to take as many as possible so you can have something to look back on and help you remember. I think Tiger is slowly starting to understand this.. hehe :)
