The Dragon Year!!

So we are getting married in the year of the Dragon!! We started off the year with a bang at a Mansion New Years Eve Party!!!
Then, the wedding planning began. Wedding planning is such a grind!! I didn't realize there was so much to planning a wedding! I've always said in the past that if I ever got married I would hire a planner, but since my venue is offering a "wedding coordinator" it seemed like a waste of money at the time. However, now I'm starting to think I should have hired one haha. We have been doing just small amounts at a time, trying not to get overwhelmed.. but it just seems never-ending! I figured first and foremost, I should pick my colors.

We're getting married in a quaint, beautiful little chapel with a lot of natural lighting. It was the first and only venue we ever visited. The minute we stepped in the chapel, we both just drew in a breath and got really quiet. It was breathtaking and we both knew in that moment that we'd found the place we were going to get married in. I've always liked real scenic things and natural colors so I decided to go with a nude/ pink/ ivory/ light peach-type color pallet. Since my mom is the florist for my wedding, I made some flowers with my potential colors for her birthday. ;)

"Love is like a beautiful flower which I may not touch, but whose fragrance makes the garden a place of delight just the same."
These are a couple of pictures I took with Tiger one night when we were playing around on our ipad. There are so many cool apps out nowadays and we have recently gotten addicted to this new game called, "Draw Something". It's basically like pictionary but you get to play with your friends through your phone or online. It's super addicting and fun to play! I have another photo fixer app on my phone too that lets you edit your mobile or ipad pictures. I love it because it reminds me of the sticker pictures I used to take with my friends when I was growing up. It's hard to believe that now we don't even need machines to create cute pictures like this!! :) I love taking pictures (as you might have noticed hehe) because I feel that photos will be the only memories you have left in life. They tell a story.. your story.. so you should try to take as many as possible so you can have something to look back on and help you remember. I think Tiger is slowly starting to understand this.. hehe :)

Love Actually..

The winter never came this year!! BUT that's okay because it's time to get some of my spring clothes out!! These are the outfits I am thinking about taking to Europe on our honeymoon!! We still haven't decided when exactly we are going but I'm thinking the Spring would be the best time to go!! :)
I haven't really done a fashion post yet, even though I love mixing, matching, and just trying new fun stuff out. I'm a real retro, vintage hippie at heart~ I like wearing things that are out of the norm and that has a very, as Tiger like to call it, "Little-House-On-The-Prairie-Look". Haha -.-". He also likes to make up phrases like, "Sha Shanta Franta Tanta" when he sees me wearing these European, retro-looking clothes. Like he's one to talk! Tiger loves to wear these long cut-off T-shirts (with nothing underneath, God forbid) sometimes where the sleeves are cut off all the way down to his waist. There is an example of him wearing this kind of shirt in the previous blog. I'm lucky if he wears a wife-beater underneath the shirt. He claims this is the most comfortable thing to wear haha. I think it has something to do with how his body emanates heat at all times. (Or maybe it's all the tiger fur?)

But all in all, I love Tiger the way he is, cut-off shirts and all! I suppose that's love actually..

F.R.I.E.N.D.S.

One of the things we enjoy the most is hanging out with our friends!! Recently, we've been really busy with wedding planning but we always try to make time for our friends!! Here's a couple pictures of us from the past week~!! ^.^

So we went to this place called Manhattan's this weekend in downtown Dallas. We saw so many people there this weekend!! Old friends, new friends, and current friends~ the whole shabang! On the left, is a picture of me and my favorite dallas girls (Sharon and Kristin) who are also two of my bridesmaids. We love to shop, eat, and party together on the weekends! Last week we also went to the Mavs vs. Knicks game and it was just insane! Because of the recent hype with Jeremy Lin, the AA Center was at least 50% asian. It was the most Asian Linvasian I'd ever seen. Below is a picture of Daniel and his friends (Michael and Matt) at Draft Picks. Draft Picks is a cool sports bar also in downtown Dallas that our friend Matt, who is also Tiger's college roomate, owns. The food is delicious there and it's a great place to hang out and see old friends for us!
Above is a picture of me and Jenny at Manhattan's~ she's a close friend Patrick's girlfriend. People always say we look alike~ To the right, is a picture of Tiger, Garebear (center), and Ken (left). Ken is a good friend of ours and Garebear (who's real name is Gary) is one of my best friend's boyfriend. Below, is a picture of some of the guys we hang out with a lot. This was at the Lobster Party at our house last week! From left to right: Donald (Ducky), David (Dtwu), Mark (Bao Bleezies), and Daniel (Tiger).

Me and Kristin at Draft Picks. Look at the size of that Chicken Pot Pie!
At the Mavs vs. Knicks game!! Above left to right: Kristin, Me, and my cousin Kanny!
Above: Lobster Night at our crib! Left to right: Kristin, Dii, Me, Sharon, Steph, and Tmak!!
To the Right: Tiger, Mikey, and Pkoo. Daniel and I have nicknames for ALL of our friends haha. That is a signature thing for both of us and how our friends differentiate us from everyone else. We also really love the peace sign. We're really not TRYING to be fobby lol.. but Tiger and I love being goofy together and with our friends. Most of our pictures have a lot of deuces/ peace signs in it. That's another signature move for us.. :)
Of course my biggest fan and bestest friend is the Tiger :)
This was at a friend's wedding rehearsal dinner last week. Tiger has that polo in every shade possible lol.
This is at our friends' wedding.. Tiger was a groomsman, hence the tux. :)
