Pae-Baek!! :)

In Korea, there's a marriage tradition called, "Pae-Baek". When you get married, you dress up in the traditional Pae-Baek clothing which is basically what the King and the Queen of Korea way back in the day wore when they got married. We were lucky enough to be able to partake in this tradition and take "Pae-Baek" pictures together!!
I'm not going to lie, I had a laughing fit while I watched my mom help Tiger into this outfit haha!! It was quite a sight. However, I do think he looks adorable in his "King" outfit. The belt he is wearing has the Character, "Wang" on it which means "King". KING TIGER!!! ^.^
So, what we wore under all these garments is our wedding "Han-bok" that we got in Korea when we went in April!! This is just traditional Korean clothing that people still wear on special occasions til this day!! Especially weddings!! :)

Below, is the traditional pouring of the wine..

And the traditional piggy-back!! :P

I'm A Married Woman!!

I can't believe it's been almost four months since my last post!! A lot has changed since then! First off, I'm a married woman now!! Woot! Our September wedding was an absolute fairy-tale wedding for us. It was a dream come true and I'm still on cloud nine every time I think about it (even though nearly two months have passed)! Our ceremony was gorgeous and very poignant. We tried to focus on things that were most important to us for our ceremony: the content and the music. Since I'm a musician I wanted to make sure we incorporated that in every aspect. My mom did a wonderful job with the flowers and it was the most scenic indoor wedding, in my opinion.. The chapel was gorgeous with windows all around and the music we chose helped make everything enchanted. I felt like Tiger and I were getting married inside an enchanted forest hehe! Most importantly, we had a BLAST at our wedding reception and we were so blessed to have so many loved ones share our special day with us!!
Being Mrs. Tsai is quite awesome. I'm so proud to carry that name and since I bore that name, here's a question that I've been asked a lot: Does it feel any different now that you're married? And the answer is: YES!!! I LOVE being married!! :) Just the fact that we are now officially a family and have professed our love for each other in front of our entire family and friends, makes me wake up every morning feeling so happy! There is a strange calm and security that falls into place when you get married. Even though your relationship is pretty much the same, I do feel as though Tiger is a little different as well. I think calling me "Wifey," makes him feel a tad more responsible hehe. Anyway, I love that we are starting a new chapter together and I love that I look forward to every moment of every day with him!! <3
Our photographer did a wonderful job of capturing the moments that matter on our wedding day. I was blown away with some of these photos and how great they turned out!!
We had two photographers capturing moments for us. They both did a fabulous job of capturing pictures that will last a lifetime!!

Already June?? :)

This my first post of June and it is already the end of the month!! Granted, this post has also been saved in my drafts for about two weeks now and I just remembered I need to post it. I believe this proves only one thing: that our life has become a wedding FRENZY!! @.@ loll. It is now about 2 months before our big day and it has been quite the journey getting to where we are now. We recently hired a partial planner to help us tie in the details and I just want to say: BEST. DECISION. OF. MY. LIFE. LOL. Just having someone to talk to when we have questions, need help on things we normally wouldn't know about, and someone who always has your best interest at heart is such a refreshing change. I'm normally the one that is super on top of things or obsessively organized but for this one day, I don't want to be worrying about anything haha. We have a "day-of" coordinator at the venue as well so this will just be more added help! We've heard from some people that the wedding is for the bride, and the honeymoon is for the groom. However, I can't WAIT to be on our honeymoon!! Haha being off in some far off romantic land just relaxing, twiddling our thumbs and saying, "We have nothing more to plan!!" seems too good to be true at the moment.

On the upside, Tiger and I have been doing a pretty good job of balancing everything out so we don't get too stressed or overwork ourselves. He is my breath of fresh air, seriously. After a tiring day of work, I think we are both eager to come back home to each other and remember why we are doing all of this to begin with. Honestly, I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with this man.. :)

KOREA TIME = FAMILY TIME!! :)

A couple months ago I wasn't sure if we should take out the time to go to Korea since we have so much to do before the wedding, but now I am so glad we decided to go!! Our Korea trip last month was AMAZING!! Haha it was very crazy and took us forever to get over the jetlag, but all in all very worth it. I have a LOT of family in Korea and they all welcomed us with open arms and showered us with wedding gifts. This was Daniel's first time meeting a lot of my family in Korea and they absolutely adored him!! Then again, who wouldn't adore a tiger? ;) We were lucky enough to get to see everyone including family on my Mom and Dad's side. It was a wonderful celebration trip and a big family reunion! It was hard for me to choose because we have over a thousand pictures of us and my family from Korea but here are just a couple of my favorites! :)

This was the welcome dinner they threw us on our first night in Seoul!! :) The food was super delish!!

Below: This was a nice tea/ coffee place in Seoul they took us to after dinner~ oh yes! that was one thing I learned while I was there: everyone in Korea is obsessed with tea and coffee lol..
Seems like my family really likes the peace sign.. lol -.-"

Below: These are some more of my cousins in Korea! They came a little later because my cousin's wife was pregnant with her first baby and she also had the baby while we were in Korea!! :)
Us, Hyung Jin Oppa, and his wife!! :)
Hehe this is my cousin Sung Soon Oppa~ he took us to a realllly nice buffet at this baller hotel on top of a hill.. (and u know how I get when I see good food T.T") haha.. it was great being able to catch up with him!!
He took us for a walk in the hills afterwards so we could look at the cherry blossom trees!! It was cherry blossom season in Korea while we were there.. sooo pretty!! :)
Below: my cousin took us to this lounge that he owns in Korea~ we decided to go up the ladder and sit in this little cubby because it looked cozy hehe..
My best friend from Junior High and her boyfriend (to the left) also joined us!! :)
This is one of my Aunties and her son Song Ho oppa~ they took us to this King Crab restaurant that served King Crab and like course after course of sushii~ it was soooooo gooood @.@ i loved it!!
 Yummmmm
We had no clue what some of this was.. loll but it was tasty!!
Isn't my Auntie pretty?? heheh she's my Dad's oldest sister and they look pretty similar lol :)

Above: My Auntie insisted that we need a picture with the giant crab in the front of the restaurant so she tried to get the entire giant King Crab in loll..

LOL do you like Tiger's purse?? My aunts took us to see the old villages in Korea where they have the antique houses.. it was pretty cool! :)

My other Aunties took us shopping all day~ it was so much fun!! :)
This was an awesome place my family took us too while we were shopping. The food was delish!!!
This is Kalbi Jjim in skillets (Steamed Galbi in Skillets).. it was sooo goood. Too bad they don't make it like that here..

AHHHHHHHHH!!!!

AHHHHH!!!! So it is now only 4 months before our wedding!!! @.@ Everything from excitement to anxiety is hitting us at once!! Since we got back from our Korea trip, we have been trying to catch up on a lot of our wedding planning! Speaking of which!! We just got back from a tasting at our venue and it was so much fun!! This is probably the only thing about wedding planning I'm going to miss (haha) ~ the food!!! We still haven't really picked a lot of the stuff out but I think we have a general idea of what we want. We also did a cake tasting not long ago which was very awesome as well~ (cake is one of my guilty pleasures..)

I realized today in all the craziness, that I forgot to post some of our engagement photos up on our blog!! We took the pictures at the park where Daniel proposed to me.. it was very special and meaningful for us to be able to go back and take our engagement photos there!! I absolutely adore our photographer and he did an excellent job with our pictures!!  Enjoy!!! :)

I love this one because this is actually one of our favorite things to do.. so the picture came out looking very natural. Enjoying a stroll in the park on a beautiful day.. can't get any better than that! :) It is also the front picture on our Save-The-Dates!!

I thought this was so cool.. there was actually a bench at this park with this plaque on it!! It literally said, "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" on it!! How meant to be is that?? haha.. we just had our photographer photoshop our wedding date into the picture so that we could use it for one of our Save-The-Date pictures! :)

This is kind of a romantic picture of us hehe.. I love what the picture says.. and I tried my best to make sure our outfits matched. ;)

This one is our cover photo for our wedding website! It's very bright and clean. It really was a gorgeous day that day so even though we were shooting the entire day, it wasn't as tiring as it should have been! :)

I will upload more once I have more compiled on my computer!! I still don't have all of the pictures from our shoot yet!!
